Terms and Conditions

•I reserve the right to refuse any commission for any reason.

•First half of payment due upon customer’s approval of sketch, the second half is due before I send over finished files. Payments to be sent via PayPal or Venmo.

• Filling out the character description sheet I send you is required. References and moodboards strongly encouraged.

•Commissions will usually take 2-8+ weeks depending on project/publishing deadlines, the complexity of the piece, and my work schedule. I will give you progress reports and WIP shots. I will inform you should there be any delays or need for additional time for complex commissions.

•No refunds, unless I cannot complete the commission.

•Finished commissions will have my name or social media handle on them, as well as yours upon request. You must credit me when posting the commission online, collaborate IG post preferred. For commercial cover work, artist’s signature will be removed, but credit as the cover artist is required within the book or elsewhere on the project.

•Unless you purchase a commercial commission for a book or book promotional material (or similar), you are not allowed to sell or reproduce and distribute my art in any way. I will not sell reproductions of your commission.

•I retain all copyrights over commissioned artwork.

•Unless otherwise stated, I retain the right to add the commission to my social media and portfolio (for any commercial work, this will only be after the work has been officially released by the client and my posting request is approved).

•Commissioner may not alter my work in any way without my consent, and may not claim my work as their own.

•You must read and agree to all of the above conditions before I will accept your commission.

Commission process / what to expect

•Commission slots will be limited. I will notify via social media when commission slots are open, whereupon you can message or email me your commission request.

•When you reach out, please let me know what kind of commission you're interested in, i.e. "a full body, colored portrait of two characters" etc.

•Once I’ve accepted your commission and you have agreed to the final price, I will send an initial sketch for you to approve or request changes to. Once the sketch is approved, the first half of payment is due and I will proceed to finish your piece. Second half of payment is due prior to receiving finished files of commissions.

•You will receive final image files in 300-600 DPI resolution (depending on if the commission is intended for print/reproduction), as well as smaller files for social media usage.

•Customer will be granted several rounds of edits: 2 rounds during the sketch phase (major compositional and structural edits must be made during these rounds), 2 rounds during lineart stage (finer details such as character features, clothing and anatomy should be finalized during this stage), 2 rounds of edits during the coloring stage (color only), and one final detailing round near the end. Additional edits or major structural edits after the lineart stage has been approved may incur additional fees.
